Ingredients

  • 10-12 lemons freshly squeezed
  • cup fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
  • ¾ cup honey
  • 2 ½ cups water
  • to taste basil for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Add the lemon juice, ginger, and honey to a blender.
  2. Blend the ingredients on high until smooth and frothy, about 1 minute.
  3. Taste the lemonade and adjust the sweetness with more honey if desired, re-blending as necessary.
  4. Pour the water and ice into a large pitcher, followed by the blended lemon mixture.
  5. Stir to combine using a wooden spoon.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil if desired, then serve and enjoy.
