Slow Cooker Spiced Nuts

raw mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, pecans, walnuts, etc.)
The sweeteners and flavorings

pure maple syrup

honey (or additional maple syrup for vegan-friendly)

pure vanilla extract

Instructions
- Line the slow cooker with parchment paper, pressing it against the sides.
- Add the nuts to the slow cooker and mix in the remaining ingredients until the nuts are coated.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it to LOW heat.
- After 30 minutes, stir the nuts and replace the lid.
- Continue cooking, stirring every 30 minutes, until the nuts are sticky and fragrant (about 2 to 3 hours).
- Carefully lift the nuts out using the parchment paper and place them on a baking sheet to cool completely.
