Ingredients

The almonds

  • 4 cups whole raw almonds

The seasoning

  • 2 ½ tablespoons coconut oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground pepper

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat the slow cooker on high for 25 minutes with the lid on.
  2. 2. Add the almonds, coconut oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, onion powder, sea salt, and ground pepper to the slow cooker.
  3. 3. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 2 hours, stirring often.
  4. 4. Turn the heat back to high and cook uncovered for an additional 30 minutes, stirring often.
  5. 5. Serve warm or allow to cool.
