Instructions
- 1. In a Dutch oven, heat olive oil and sauté onions and peppers until slightly browned.
- 2. Add garlic, chili powder, cumin, and oregano; sauté until fragrant.
- 3. Add ground beef, season with half the salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- 4. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato paste, broth or water, and remaining salt and pepper; bring to a simmer.
- 5. Cover and simmer for about an hour.
