Instructions
- Melt the butter and Besti Brown together in a large saucepan over low heat, cooking until golden brown.
- Stir in the cream and bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the sauce darkens and coats the back of a spoon.
- Remove from heat and whisk in the vanilla extract.
- Allow the sauce to cool slightly; it will thicken as it cools.
