Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast Bowls

The bowls

Fresh ripe strawberries
quarter

slivered almonds

pepitas (pumpkin seeds)

additional almond milk or coconut milk
Instructions
- For the cold version, combine all oatmeal ingredients in a large container, stir, seal, and refrigerate overnight.
- Divide the oats into four bowls and top with strawberries, pepitas, and almonds. Add more almond or coconut milk if desired.
- For the hot version, combine oats, chia seeds, coconut, maple syrup, coconut milk, and almond milk in a pot.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until thickened.
- Remove from heat, stir in vanilla extract, and divide into bowls. Top with strawberries, almonds, and nuts, adding more milk if desired.
