10-Minute Broccoli in Garlic Sauce

Ingredients

The sauce

  • 1 Tbsp. chicken bouillon paste
  • cup water
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp. toasted sesame oil

The vegetables

  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 2 medium heads broccoli
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Dissolve chicken bouillon paste in water and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add broccoli and cook until bright green.
  4. Pour in bouillon mixture, cover, and cook until broccoli is crisp-tender.
  5. Mix cornstarch with water and add to the pan along with butter and sesame oil.
  6. Toss to combine and cook until the sauce thickens and coats the broccoli.
