Instructions
- Cook the potatoes until tender by boiling or using a pressure cooker.
- Add cream cheese and butter to the drained potatoes and let them soften.
- Mash the potatoes with sour cream, milk, garlic powder, and pepper until creamy.
- Spread the mashed potatoes evenly in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
- For the topping, combine bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese, then mix with melted butter.
- If baking immediately, spread the topping over the mashed potatoes and bake at 375°F for 40-50 minutes.
