Instructions
- Blend 1 ½ cups oats, milk, melted butter, egg, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
- Add the remaining ¼ cup oats and let the batter sit for 10 minutes.
- Heat a griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat, greasing if desired.
- Pour approximately ¼ cup of batter for each pancake onto the griddle.
- Flip the pancakes when bubbles form on the first side and brown the second side.
- Repeat with the remaining batter to make about 8 pancakes.
- Serve hot with butter, maple syrup, fresh fruit, or whipped cream.
