white chocolate chips or white chocolate baking bars
Instructions
- Heat 3 ½ cups of milk, the seeds and pod of the vanilla bean, and a pinch of salt in a medium saucepan over medium heat until it simmers.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the remaining ½ cup of milk and the cornstarch until well blended.
- Once the milk mixture is simmering, add the cornstarch mixture and let it simmer for 1 minute, whisking constantly until lightly thickened.
- Remove from heat, add the white chocolate chips, and whisk until melted. Remove the vanilla bean pod.
- Let cool slightly before serving with desired toppings.
