Shrimp Stir Fry

The stir fry

shrimp, raw, thawed, peeled and deveined

broccoli, cut into small florets

red onion, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Whisk together the orange juice, orange zest, 1 tablespoon of ginger, 2 minced garlic cloves, maple syrup, sesame oil, tamari, red pepper flakes, and cornstarch.
- Lightly salt the shrimp and heat a pan with oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp along with 1 teaspoon of ginger and ½ teaspoon of garlic. Cook for about 30 seconds on each side, then remove from the pan.
- Add the broccoli to the pan and stir-fry for about 5 minutes. Then add the red onion and sauté for another 3 minutes. Stir in the sauce and cook until it bubbles.
- Return the shrimp to the pan and stir for another minute until the shrimp is cooked through.
- Remove from heat and serve with jasmine rice, garnished with red pepper flakes, sesame seeds, and green onions.
