Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F and prepare a 9-inch pie plate.
- Mix the crust ingredients in a bowl until coarse crumbs form, then press into the pie plate.
- Bake the crust for 20-25 minutes until golden brown, then let it cool.
- In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, then add melted chocolate and mix.
- Add one egg and beat for 5 minutes, then repeat for the second and third eggs, beating for 5 minutes each time.
- Scrape the filling into the cooled pie crust and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Before serving, top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
