Easy BBQ Tofu Sandwich

The tofu and marinade

extra firm tofu

barbecue sauce

apple cider vinegar

For cooking and serving

tahini coleslaw

optional toppings (lettuce, pickles, pimento cheese)
Instructions
- Press the tofu for 10 minutes to remove excess moisture.
- Cut the tofu block lengthways into 5 slices.
- In a bowl, combine the barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, water, and hot sauce to create the marinade.
- Coat the tofu slices in the marinade and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated tofu to the skillet and sauté each side for about 5 minutes or until browned and crispy.
- Assemble the sandwiches by placing the tofu on the buns and topping with tahini coleslaw and optional toppings.
