Ingredients

The pork chops

  • 4 pieces center-cut pork chops
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

The breading

  • cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 3 tablespoons finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F and prepare a baking sheet with a wire rack coated in nonstick spray.
  2. Dry the pork chops and season both sides with salt.
  3. Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten egg, and one with a mixture of Panko, Parmesan, and seasonings.
  4. Dredge each pork chop in flour, then egg, and finally the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place the coated pork chops on the wire rack, mist with nonstick spray, and bake until the internal temperature reaches 140°F, about 15 to 22 minutes.
  6. Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
