Chunky Citrus Guacamole

Ingredients

  • 5 avocados chopped
  • cup white onion, diced
  • cup tomato, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small jalapeño, seeds and veins removed and finely diced
  • ¼ cup fresh orange juice
  • cup fresh lime juice
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder
  • teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • to taste kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Mash three avocados in a medium bowl.
  2. Add two more chopped avocados along with the diced onion, tomato, minced garlic, and jalapeño.
  3. Squeeze the orange and lime juices over the mixture and add chili powder, smoked paprika, and salt.
  4. Mix everything well and adjust seasoning to taste.
  5. Serve with tortilla chips, fresh vegetables, or as a sandwich topping.
