Ingredients

No Cook Version

  • ¾ cup maple syrup
  • ½ cup almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt

Stovetop Version

  • 1 cup coconut sugar
  • ¾ cup coconut cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Optional Flavor Additions

  • ¼ cup pumpkin puree
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons bourbon
  • to taste extra sea salt

Instructions

  1. For the stovetop version, whisk coconut sugar and coconut cream in a small pot.
  2. Cook over medium heat until it reaches a slow rolling boil, whisking continuously.
  3. Allow to boil for about 5-10 minutes until thickened, adding cornstarch if desired.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in vanilla and sea salt.
  5. For the no cook version, combine all ingredients in a bowl and whisk until smooth and sticky.
  6. Serve as needed.
