Instructions
- Combine coconut milk fat, coconut sugar, and honey in a saucepan.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
- Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Allow the caramel sauce to cool for 5 minutes.
- Stir in the shortening until completely dissolved.
- Serve the sauce.
