Instructions
- Combine the soymilk, sugar, and maple syrup in a saucepan over medium heat and cook for 5 minutes, whisking often.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and water.
- Add the cornstarch mixture to the saucepan and cook until it bubbles and thickens slightly.
- Remove from heat and stir in the soy margarine, vanilla extract, and kosher salt.
- Transfer to a heat-proof container and let it cool to room temperature.
