Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Place the chicken in a baking dish, slightly touching, and spread 1 tablespoon of ranch dressing over each piece.
- Top each chicken breast with 2 slices of mozzarella cheese.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove the foil and sprinkle chopped bacon on top.
- Bake uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving and drizzle with remaining ranch dressing.
