Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour, heat treated
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup packed light brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Tbsp milk, then more as needed
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. 1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar, then sprinkle salt on top.
  2. 2. Use an electric hand mixer to whip the mixture until it becomes pale and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
  3. 3. Mix in the milk and vanilla extract until well blended.
  4. 4. Gradually add the heat-treated flour and mix just until combined, adding more milk if needed to achieve desired consistency.
  5. 5. Gently fold in the chocolate chips using a rubber spatula.
  6. 6. Store the cookie dough in the refrigerator.
