Ingredients

The burger

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Montreal Steak Seasoning
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 2 tablespoons bacon drippings or olive oil

Optional toppings

  • 4 ounces sliced onion

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill and clean the grate.
  2. Break up the ground beef and mix in Worcestershire sauce, Montreal Steak Seasoning, and olive oil if using.
  3. Form the mixture into three balls and gently press into patties.
  4. Oil the grill grate and season the outside of the patties with salt and pepper.
  5. Grill the patties to your desired level of doneness.
  6. For caramelized onions, sauté sliced onions in oil until softened, then add erythritol and cook until browned.
