Ingredients

The salmon

  • 4 oz salmon fillets, skinless and boneless

The seasoning and cooking

  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup parsley, loosely packed

Instructions

  1. Pat dry the salmon and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Rub lemon juice over each fillet.
  3. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  4. Place salmon fillets in the pan, flesh side down, and sear for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Flip the salmon and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Add butter, garlic, and parsley to the pan and simmer for 2 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and serve the salmon drizzled with pan juices.
