Braided Crescent Berry Dessert Bake

The dough

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly mist a baking dish.
- Combine the berries, sugar, and cornstarch in a mixing bowl and mix well.
- Transfer the berry mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate two rolls for another use.
- Press the seams of the remaining dough together to form a flat rectangle.
- Slice the rectangle into 12 strips.
- Weave 4 strips lengthwise across the berry mixture and the remaining 8 strips crosswise to create a basket weave.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes until the dough is golden and the berries are bubbling.
- Let cool for 10-15 minutes, then slice into 8 portions and serve.
