Instructions
- Chop the onion and place it in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Combine the spices in a small bowl.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken, including inside the cavity.
- Place the chicken breast side down on top of the onions in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on high for 4 to 5 hours or on low for 7 to 8 hours until the chicken is tender.
