Ingredients

  • 1 cup almonds
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • 1 date date
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Soak the almonds in water for 6 to 48 hours.
  2. Rinse and drain the almonds under cold water.
  3. Blend the soaked almonds with 4 cups of filtered water, the date, and vanilla extract for 1-2 minutes until frothy.
  4. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer lined with cheesecloth.
  5. Squeeze out the remaining solids to extract all the milk.
  6. Store the almond milk in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
