Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Cream the butter and sugar together until fluffy, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well.
- Mix in the sour cream and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Prepare the cinnamon sugar topping by mixing the sugars and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan, sprinkle with half of the cinnamon sugar and half of the chocolate chips.
- Spread the remaining batter over the filling, then top with the rest of the cinnamon sugar and chocolate chips.
- Bake for about 40 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool to room temperature before serving.
