Instructions
- Preheat the waffle iron and optionally an oven to keep the waffles warm.

- In another bowl, whisk the wet ingredients: buttermilk, melted butter, and egg.
- Combine the wet and dry mixtures, stirring until just combined with a few lumps remaining.
