Ingredients

The crust

  • 10 Tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

The filling

  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chopped pretzels

The topping

  • 6 ounces chopped semi-sweet chocolate
  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil
  • optional sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and prepare a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Beat the butter until creamy, then mix in flour, sugar, salt, egg yolk, and vanilla until crumbly.
  3. Press the dough into the pan and top with pretzel pieces, then bake.
  4. Prepare the salted caramel and let it cool slightly before pouring over the crust.
  5. Melt the chocolate with coconut oil, then pour over the cooled caramel and sprinkle with sea salt.
  6. Cool completely, lift from the pan, and cut into bars.
