Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray a 9-by-13-inch pan with cooking spray.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a mixer, beat the softened butter with both sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just incorporated.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped pretzels.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan and press down with a spatula.
- If desired, sprinkle chocolate sprinkles on top.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown, allowing the center to remain slightly gooey.
- Let the bars cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
