Instructions
- Whisk together the sauce ingredients and set aside, reserving some cornstarch and pear juice.
- Slice the steak into thin slices and coat with cornstarch.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the steak until done.
- Remove the steak from the pan and cook the green beans until tender-crisp.
- Add chopped green onion white ends and bell pepper, cooking briefly.
- Add garlic and ginger, cooking until fragrant, then return the steak to the pan.
- Turn the heat to high, add the sauce, and bring to a boil.
- Whisk the reserved cornstarch and pear juice, then add to the sauce to thicken.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately over rice.
