Crispy Jackfruit Carnitas

The cooking ingredients
Instructions
- Drain the jackfruit and cut it into very thin slices.
- Wring out the jackfruit using a kitchen towel to remove excess water.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sauté the onion, garlic, and jalapeno until golden and fragrant.
- Add the jackfruit and soy sauce, cooking on low heat until moisture evaporates.
- Stir in the salt, sugar, and spices, then add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and cook until the jackfruit is crispy and caramelized.
- Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve in tacos, burritos, or bowls.
