Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- Slice off the top ½ inch of the okra.
- Layer the okra evenly on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle the okra with oil and coat evenly.
- Sprinkle with coarse salt and black pepper.
- Roast in the oven for 10 minutes, then stir the okra.
- Return to the oven and roast for an additional 10 minutes until slightly blackened and crunchy.
