Ingredients

The cream puffs

  • 16 pieces cream puff shells

The filling and toppings

  • 1 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream
  • cup powdered sugar
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix granulated sugar and 1 tsp of cinnamon in a small bowl and set aside.
  3. Heat honey in the microwave until it starts to boil, about 20 seconds.
  4. Brush the tops of the cream puffs with honey and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  5. Place the cream puffs on the baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes.
  6. In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream and salt until soft peaks form.
  7. Add powdered sugar and remaining cinnamon, and beat until stiff peaks form.
  8. Fill a pastry bag with the whipped cream and pipe it into the cream puffs.
