Ingredients

The nuts

  • 5 cups raw mixed nuts (cashews, almonds, pecans, walnuts)

The seasoning

  • cup Thrive Culinary Algae Oil
  • 1 Tbsp nutritional yeast (optional)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • 1 tsp dried chives
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325º F.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the algae oil and seasonings together.
  3. Place the mixed nuts in a large pan and drizzle them with the seasoned oil, tossing to coat.
  4. Roast the nuts in the oven for 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes to avoid burning.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool on the pan.
  6. Store the cooled nuts in a sealed container or mason jar for up to 4 weeks.
