Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 medium Bartlett pear, diced ½-inch
  • 1 medium apple (like Gala or Fuji), diced ½-inch
  • 1 cup red or black grapes, halved
  • ¼ cup pomegranate arils (seeds)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves, chopped (optional)
  • to taste ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup walnut halves or pieces
  • to taste honey or agave nectar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Coat the diced pears and apples in lemon juice to prevent browning.
  2. Add the halved grapes, pomegranate arils, and thyme to the bowl and stir to combine.
  3. Sprinkle with walnuts and ground cinnamon just before serving.
  4. Drizzle with honey or agave nectar if desired.
