Orange Colored M&M's (or other orange candy coated chocolate candies)
Instructions
- Cream together the butter and sugars in a mixing bowl.
- Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and espresso powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well.
- Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
- Gently mix in the M&M's, being careful not to break them.
- Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Use a 2 Tbsp ice cream scoop to place dough onto the sheets without pressing them down.
- If desired, press extra M&M's onto the cookies before baking.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 8-10 minutes until firm around the edges.
- Cool cookies in the pans for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
