Easy Naan Pizza

Ingredients

Pizza Sauce

  • 1 28-ounce can crushed tomatoes
  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 4 large garlic cloves
  • 8 leaves fresh basil
  • ½ teaspoon granulated sugar
  • to taste salt

Pizzas

  • 4 loaves naan
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella

Toppings

  • 6-7 ounces pepperoni
  • 1 large tomato
  • 1 small bell pepper
  • ½ small red onion

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Prepare the pizza sauce by processing tomatoes if using whole or diced.
  3. In a pot, heat olive oil and cook garlic until golden, then add tomatoes, sugar, and basil.
  4. Simmer the sauce for 20-30 minutes until thickened, adding salt to taste.
  5. Place naan on baking sheets, top with sauce, cheese, and desired toppings.
  6. Bake for 12-14 minutes until cheese is melted and naan is golden.
  7. Cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
