Instructions
- Cut the cod filet into 6 pieces and season with Creole seasoning and black pepper.
- In a large bowl, mix pancake mix, flour, nutmeg, and egg. Gradually add beer until the mixture is slightly thick.
- Preheat a cooking pan to medium heat and add cooking oil.
- Coat the cod pieces with flour and then dip them into the batter, ensuring they are fully coated.
- Fry each piece of cod for 4 minutes on each side, then place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- For the tartar sauce, combine all ingredients in a small bowl and whisk until smooth.
- Serve the cod hot with the tartar sauce.
