Ingredients

The almonds

  • 2 cups skin-on whole raw almonds

The seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons dried rosemary
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • ΒΌ teaspoon freshly-ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon ghee, avocado oil, or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Gather all the ingredients.
  2. Melt the ghee or oil in a large skillet over medium-low heat.
  3. Once the oil is bubbling, add the almonds in a single layer and stir to coat.
  4. Add the rosemary, salt, and pepper to the skillet.
  5. Toast the almonds while stirring often until they are slightly darkened and aromatic, which takes about 8 to 12 minutes.
  6. Remove the almonds from the skillet and place them on a paper towel to cool to room temperature.
  7. Store the seasoned almonds in a sealed container.
