Ingredients

The almonds

  • 2 cups raw almonds (whole, slivered, or sliced)

Optional fat

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spread the almonds in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  3. Roast whole almonds for 10 to 15 minutes, and slivered or sliced almonds for 8 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from the oven and use as desired or store in an airtight container.
