Oat Milk Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces semi-sweet chocolate or dark chocolate, chopped
  • 2 cups oat milk (or other milk of choice)
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • a pinch kosher salt
  • 2 scoops collagen (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the chocolate, oat milk, maple syrup, and salt over medium-low heat.
  2. Whisk steadily until the chocolate has melted and is well mixed with the oat milk.
  3. Carefully transfer the mixture to a blender and add the collagen if using.
  4. Blend for about 30 seconds, allowing steam to escape to prevent pressure build-up.
  5. Divide the hot chocolate among mugs and serve.
