Homemade Vegan Nutella

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups hazelnuts
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ cup dairy free chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (120°C).
  2. Spread the hazelnuts in a single layer on a parchment-lined cookie sheet and roast for 10-12 minutes until they begin to brown.
  3. Allow the hazelnuts to cool slightly, then rub them in a dish towel to remove the skins.
  4. Place the hazelnuts in a food processor and blend until they become nut butter.
  5. Add the remaining ingredients and blend until super smooth, which may take some time.
  6. Serve as desired.
