Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and prepare baking sheets.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Cut in the cold butter until crumbly.
- In another bowl, mix eggs, instant coffee mixture, oil, and vanilla.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then fold in chocolate chips.
- Knead the dough lightly and shape it into two logs on the baking sheet.
- Brush the logs with egg wash and bake for 25-26 minutes.
- Cool for 10 minutes, then slice into 1-inch pieces and bake again for 9 minutes on each side.
- Melt chocolate and dip one side of each biscotti, then sprinkle with hazelnuts.
- Let the chocolate set before serving.
