Ingredients

The sauce

For serving

  • 8 ounces cooked pasta of choice

Instructions

  1. 1. Melt vegan butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until golden.
  2. 2. Gradually add flour, whisking continuously to prevent clumping, and cook until lightly browned.
  3. 3. Slowly pour in soy milk, whisking continuously to avoid lumps.
  4. 4. Add salt, pepper, and nutritional yeast, then bring to medium-high heat until bubbling.
  5. 5. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until the sauce thickens, whisking occasionally.
  6. 6. Stir in lemon juice, taste for seasoning, and serve with pasta.
