Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon fine salt
  • ¾ cup unsweetened almond milk

Instructions

  1. Soak the cashews in boiling water for 30 minutes.
  2. Drain the cashews and place them in a high-power blender.
  3. Add nutritional yeast, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and almond milk to the blender.
  4. Blend on high for 1-2 minutes until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
  5. Taste and adjust salt or garlic if desired.
