Ingredients

  • 1 cup water

  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sauté the onion until soft and translucent, about 5 to 8 minutes.
  2. Add minced garlic and stir for about 1 minute until fragrant, then remove from heat.
  3. In a high-speed blender, combine cashews, water, lemon juice, vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the sautéed onions and garlic to the blender and blend until smooth.
  5. Serve the sauce over cooked pasta, adjusting seasoning to taste.
