Instructions
- 1. Heat the vegan butter or olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat and cook the chopped onion until translucent.
- 2. Remove the onions from the pan and add them to a blender with the soaked cashews, pasta water, almond milk, roasted garlic, nutritional yeast, sea salt, vegan parmesan cheese, and lime juice.
- 3. Blend until completely creamy, adjusting salt or vegan parmesan cheese to taste.
- 4. Serve immediately or store in an airtight jar for later use.
