Ingredients

The chicken

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast or thighs
  • 1 cup Buffalo sauce
  • ΒΌ cup butter
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

For serving

  • 12 slider buns
  • to serve ranch dressing
  • 1 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • as desired tomato slices
  • as desired lettuce

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken, Buffalo sauce, butter, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a slow cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours.
  3. Once cooked, shred the chicken using forks or a stand mixer.
  4. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir to combine.
  5. Taste and adjust the seasonings as necessary.
  6. Toast the buns if desired.
  7. Assemble the sliders by placing chicken on the bottom half of the buns and topping with ranch dressing, blue cheese, tomato, and lettuce.
  8. Finish with the top half of the buns and serve immediately.
