Buffalo Chicken Sliders

Ingredients

  • 12 pieces slider buns, split in half
  • 2 ½ cups shredded chicken
  • ½ cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 7 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 head green curly lettuce, cleaned and leaves separated
  • 3 pieces tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • ¾ cup ranch dressing or dip

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Place the bottom half of the slider buns on a sheet pan and bake for 3-5 minutes until lightly toasted.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the buffalo wing sauce, 4 tablespoons of melted butter, and honey.
  4. Pour the buffalo sauce mixture over the shredded chicken and toss to coat.
  5. Spread the chicken evenly over the bottom half of the buns.
  6. Place the top buns over the chicken mixture.
  7. In another small bowl, whisk together the remaining 3 tablespoons of melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley.
  8. Brush the garlic butter over the tops of the rolls and bake for 10-15 minutes until browned.
  9. Remove the sliders from the oven and cut them into individual sandwiches.
  10. Remove the tops of the sliders, layer with lettuce and tomato, then drizzle with ranch dressing.
  11. Place the buns back on top and serve immediately.
