Indonesian Beef Skewers

Basting Sauce

Peanut Sauce

creamy peanut butter

Instructions
- Cut the meat into 1-inch cubes.
- Combine garlic, soy sauce, oil, cumin, and coriander in a bowl.
- Add the meat to the marinade, stir to coat, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight, stirring occasionally.
- Prepare the Basting Sauce and Peanut Sauce, and soak bamboo skewers in water.
- Thread 4 or 5 pieces of meat onto each skewer.
- Grill the skewers 2 to 4 inches above hot coals, turning often until browned and cooked to your liking (about 8 to 10 minutes for medium-rare).
- Brush the skewers with Basting Sauce about 3 minutes before they are done.
- Serve the skewers with Peanut Sauce.
